Sunday 26th August
Well we headed up to Tai Po today for the first game of the Revo season. Very, very hot and sticky and a 1pm KO which is just plain silly! Anyway as is always the rule, someone always gets injured at the first game - however this time it was the supporter on her way to the game! I have managed to sprain my knee (again!!) and it is all swollen and very very sore. Made a lovely cracking noise as I did it - clearly walking too fast in my excitement to watch the game - which they lost by the way!
So Nurse McGovern is being very caring and has put me on sofa rest - not that I have a choice as I cannot put any weight on it yet. Have been following my first aid advice (RICE) and I have a lovely knee support to help me get mobile again next week. Looking very silly at the minute as my right hand is rubbing my knee and my left hand is rubbing my bump!

- This is the blog site of the McGoverns. It started off with Emma & Michael, we met in Aberystwyth and married in August 2004. We moved to Hong Kong in January 2007 and upon finding out we were expecting a baby the following year we set up a blog for friends and family at home to follow. Upon the arrival of Baby McGovern on 24th January 2008, we set up the blog Eleanor McGovern to tell of her adventures in Hong Kong and Singapore. We moved back to the UK in March 2010 and left the blog behind. However, with the arrival of a new baby McGovern (Matilda on 18th January 2011) and a realisation that our travels have left us with friends all over the globe we need to keep in touch with, as well as family that whilst nearer are still too far away - we have a new blog to start!
